The Nest by Birthing Gently is a place to donate or purchase gently used baby essentials.
We encourage our Birthing Gently Doula clients to consider giving back by donating gently used items, allowing other families to access doula care.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support families and the community by providing access to necessary items and doula services. Proceeds from the store are used to fund tuition assistance seats for doulas interested in birthwork who may not otherwise afford a spot in our program. This creates a full-circle, supportive system—empowering families to receive the care they need while expanding the pool of available doulas in our community.

Through our gently used store, we accept donations of baby essentials and knitted items, such as hats, blankets, and mittens, aiming to create a sustainable circle of care. We aspire to empower families by providing access to doula services and resources, while fostering a spirit of giving back. By regularly sending donation boxes to New Mexico and beyond, we strive to ensure that support reaches those who need it most—building a connected, compassionate community from the ground up.

The Nest Builder
Katheryn, a high school student, is our dedicated Nest Builder, responsible for accepting, sorting, and preparing outgoing donations within the community. A philanthropist at heart and the daughter of Birthing Gently owner Tara Campbell, Katheryn is deeply committed to supporting families and fostering a nurturing environment. Her passion for service and community-driven support helps ensure that the mission of The Nest by Birthing Gently continues to grow and thrive.
