The Nest by Birthing Gently is a place to donate gently used baby essentials.

We encourage our Birthing Gently Doula clients to consider giving back by donating gently used items, supporting families in need.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to supporting families and our community by providing access to essential items. Many families travel from out of state or abroad to seek medical care in and around Boston. These items are vital in helping families feel supported and comfortable during their temporary stay in the city.

Our Vision

Our vision is to cultivate a nurturing community where families and doulas come together in support and generosity. We accept donations of baby essentials and knitted items, such as hats, blankets, and mittens, aiming to create a sustainable circle of care. We aspire to empower families while fostering a spirit of giving back. We regularly send donation boxes to New Mexico and beyond. We strive to ensure that support reaches those who need it most—building a connected, compassionate community from the ground up.

New (unopened) breastmilk storage bags & breastpads.
New (unopened) Diapers, wipes,
New (unopened) Diaper creams, lotions, and shampoos
New - disposable underwear, sitz baths, & pads, and ice packs
Sterilizer, warmers & bottle drying racks
Blankets, swaddles, & receiving blankets
Slings, carriers, breastfeeding pillows, Boppy pillows, & loungers
Bassinets, Co-sleepers, playens
Baby gates, bathtubs, baby monitors, diaper pails
High chairs, swings, jumpers, bouncers, activity centers, & floor seats.
Toys, books & play mats

*Items we do not accept: Furniture, car seats, and breastpumps

The Nest Builder

Katheryn, a high school student, is our dedicated Nest Builder, responsible for accepting, sorting, and preparing outgoing donations within the community. A philanthropist at heart and the daughter of Birthing Gently owner Tara Campbell, Katheryn is deeply committed to supporting families and fostering a nurturing environment.
