This inclusive, evidence & and advocacy-based class seeks to educate expectant parents on wellness, comfort, and care options throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth so they feel empowered to be active participants throughout their journey.

In this class, we will:

  • Discuss signs of labor & and what to expect during labor

  • Learn when to leave for the birthing place

  • Explore the importance of labor support plans

  • Introduce natural and medical comfort measures, including epidurals

  • Prepare how to communicate effectively with care providers

  • Review induction

  • Learn skills for immediate postpartum care of a birthing person and newborn
