As the second oldest of five siblings she has gained great personal experience. Growing up in hospitals with siblings who have/had childhood cancer, congenital heart disease, intellectual disability, and being the daughter of Birthing Gently's owner.. the medical field seemed like a natural calling!
Shelby will complete her DONA International Postpartum Doula training (2020), and will attend nursing school in the fall (2020).
Shelby is currently working alongside the Birthing Gently staff providing support services to our postpartum families as a mother helper, and currently taking new clients for daytime support only.
