Heidi Terpening, RN, Certified Full Spectrum Doula

For the past 27 years, Heidi Terpening has had the privilege of caring for families across a wide range of nursing roles, including maternal-child health, NICU, labor and delivery, postpartum care, pediatrics, and community health. That depth of experience has given her a profound understanding of what families need most during some of life's most tender and transformative moments.

Her passion for supporting families led her to become a Certified Full Spectrum Doula and Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, deepening her ability to offer compassionate, personalized support across the full arc of the reproductive journey, from the earliest weeks of pregnancy through the postpartum season and beyond.

Heidi is the proud mom of three amazing adult children, and family is at the center of everything she does. Outside of work, she loves traveling, photography, and making memories with the people she loves. Her travels, especially along the stunning Adriatic coast of Croatia, sparked a deep appreciation for beauty, stillness, and the kind of unhurried presence she brings to every client she serves.

Heidi believes every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered. It is a profound honor for her to walk alongside her clients with compassion, empathy, and unwavering support as they navigate pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and all that comes with it.
