Sarah Hodin - Grant Writing & Maternal Health Consultant

Sarah Hodin took her DONA training with Tara Campbell in 2012 after witnessing her first births in a mud hut in Uganda and later became a DONA-certified birth doula. She received her MPH from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health with a concentration in maternal and child health. She currently works at the Maternal Health Task Force as a project coordinator and technical writer, and she is also DONA International's Advocacy Committee Chair. 

 

In her spare time, Sarah runs a nonprofit organization called Nyora Beads that sells fair trade jewelry and crafts to raise money for high school scholarships for children in Kenya.
