Birth & Postpartum Doula Profile - Samantha Vallerand
Samantha took her Birth Doula training with Tara Campbell and Erin Ronder-Neves in early 2021, she also took her Postpartum Doula training with Kristen Maltais at the same time-both trainings were through DONA International. Samantha is first aid and CPR certified and she also has a background in Early childhood Education and she graduated in 2007 with two certificates. She’s certified in parenting techniques of children 8 years old and up and will be taking a course for younger children as well. Samantha enjoys expanding her knowledge and will be adding to
her certifications as the time is right.
Samantha is a single mom of four lovely teenagers. She was a teenage mom
at the young age of 18 years old. So she is no stranger to motherhood or the learning curve of parenthood. Due to her background as a single teen mom Samantha has a passion for working with both single moms and teen moms. However, is fully committed to helping all new families!
Samantha enjoys arts and crafts and is an avid wreath maker. She loves to draw and enjoys puzzles, reading and writing short stories as well as some poetry. Samantha likes to read or listen to audiobooks. In Samantha’s spare time she volunteers at her local Boy’s and Girl’s club. She is a team mom of her youngest son’s wrestling team. As well as a very active cheer mom for her two girls.
