Community Liaison & Office Manager - Hope Ouellette
Hope Ouellette has served as a lactation counselor in in both the public and private sector for over 20 years. She began teaching the art of breastfeeding as a mother-to-mother peer counselor with her local WIC program. Hope went on to become a Certified Lactation Counselor, working with both the WIC program and Birthing Gently. She has had the privilege of helping hundreds of families reach or surpass their breastfeeding goals. Hope has also enjoyed teaching doulas-in-training and continues to be a “lactation mentor” for many. She relishes keeping “abreast” with the newest evidence-based research and latest breastfeeding trends.
Hope is now using her networking and communication skills in her role as Community Liaison Representative. She is responsible for setting up meet and greets with providers in all the locations we serve throughout the country. Hope is also our office manager and tries to make sure we all dot our “i’s” and cross our “t’s”.
When not making phone calls, sending emails, and visiting providers, Hope enjoys time at home with her two fantastic kids (who are in their 20’s) and her awesome dog, Pippin. She adores British television, Netflix originals, good books, great food shared with friends and family, most genres of music, writing stories, social media, and long drives on Sundays to nowhere in particular.
