Hello! My name is Alissa Greenman-Rowe. I am a trained and certified postpartum doula. Through my doula career I have worked with 24 plus families. I have no children of my own yet, although I have seen what works with all my families! Prior to becoming a doula I was a nanny for 2 school age children and worked at a highly accredited daycare.

My passion is children and new mothers, I have tried other careers but nothing comes close to the satisfaction of watching a child grow and watching their family come together and bond. I plan on continuing my education by becoming a lactation counselor and continuing to learn more sign language to share with my young charges.

In addition to hanging out with kids, I enjoy spending time with my husband and traveling. We will often pick a small seaport town and book a hotel room for the night just to see new places! I grew up in Sacramento and have lived in Seattle and now Boston for the last 6 years. I am a fairly avid knitter and yogi as well as a huge reader.
